A warm welcome to our quality farm cottages! Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life by staying on our family-run working farm, located in the rolling countryside of the Derwent Valley. All our cottages have outstanding views of the surrounding hills and countryside, and provide everything you require for a relaxing holiday. Alongside our beautiful cottages we also offer a variety of camping experiences, we have a Camping and Caravanning club certificated site with 5 hardstanding pitches and camping pod which are open all year round, between Easter and end of September (weather permitting) we also offer 10 grass tent pitches, a Belle Tent and Safari tent. All of these use our purpose built toilet block and laundry facilities, fully under floor heated. We pride ourselves on being child-friendly, pet-friendly and environment-friendly. We are lucky enough to have a natural tarn on our land that is a magnet for wildlife. From our specially built hide, you can spot nesting swans, geese, ducks and even the occasional otter. Barn owls roost in the eaves of one of the cottages and we regularly see red squirrels feeding in the grounds.

- Camping Pod — We offer a range or glamping options, our camping pod is available all year round, combining the simple pleasures of camping with comfortable self-catering facilities. Our own specially designed camping pod can comfortably sleep two adults and two small children, or three adults. Included in the price is a Oil-fired radiator, Electric lighting and sockets, Futon style foam chair beds, Blackout curtains, Fully carpeted throughout, Outside decking area, Picnic bench, Fire pit and has Adjacent parking
- Safari Glamping Pod — Between Easter and end of September (weather permitting) we have a stunning Safari style tent. If you are looking for a unique and beautiful get away our tent is perfect for you. We can offer you camping but with the luxury of a comfortable double bed with bedding to relax in after a day exploring all the stunning Western Lakes has to offer. Step outside onto your own private decking for panoramic views of our local fells and straight towards Skiddaw. Inside the tent is a very comfortable double bed with bedding, bedside cabinet, Ratan rug on the floor, lighting from fairy lights on the ceiling and a bedside lamp, there is a toaster, kettle, 2x plates, bowls, mugs, cuttlery and a electric point. The tent is set up for upto 2 people sharing a double bed, there is room for a put up bed or travel cot to accommodate children, please get in touch with your requirements and I will be happy to help. Outside to enjoy the beautiful scenery is a table & chairs and chiminea.
