Linwater Caravan Park

Opened in 1998 by the Guinan family, Linwater caravan park is still a small family owned site, now in its second generation. The family live on site, with reception and shop open daily. The site is manned 24 hours so there always someone on hand to help. The family pride themselves on upholding high standards including ensuring that Linwater is a happy place to work and visit. All staff are paid the living wage as a minimum and respect for each other is a vital component to how they operate. Nature and our environment are also important and the team is committed to ensuring that the park is a haven for many flora and fauna. Don’t be surprised by all the bee friendly flowers and hedges around the site, as well as some nest boxes in the surroinding woodlands!
Accommodation types
- Hardstanding Touring Pitch — Generously sized hard standing pitches constructed with compacted gravel. All sites feature a 16 Amp electric hookup and there are taps dotted around the site for your convenience. All pitches include room for a car beside you and if you wish to put up an awning you can do this easily for no extra cost. For awnings on hard standings, rock pegs are advised.
- Avon Lodge — Each lodge provides a modern open plan living space with well equipped kitchen, dining and seating area. This opens out onto a decked balcony with views of the park. The decked area has outdoor seating and a BBQ with complimentary gas. Our kitchens have integrated fridge-freezer, dishwasher, cooker, microwave and more! The lounge and dining area have a large TV/DVD player, sofas, coffee table, dining table and fireplace. The master bedrooms are all en suite and the other bedrooms are serviced by a large bathroom with spacious bath tub and shower. White cotton bedding and and soft towels are provided at no extra cost. Access is through a utility room with a washer/dryer and plenty of space for coats/boots etc. A cot and high chair can be supplied on request at no extra charge.* ***Bedding not provided for cot**
- Large Grass Pitch - Electric Hook-Up — We welcome tents, motorhomes and also small campervans on any of our grass pitches, all you need to do is select the one that suits your needs best. All of our pitches are level and come with a 16 Amp hookup included. Parking is on the pitch so make sure you factor this in when you reserve a spot! Our grass pitches are 10m x 8 m and must fit your tent/tourer and car beside it. If you cannot fit your car in the space provided you will not be allowed to stay if there is a risk of you breaching the safe distance between other campers. For stays of over a week we may ask you to move your tent to another spot after 6 nights to preserve the grass depending on the ground and weather conditions.

- Avonmore 3 Bed Static — They are stylish, practical, modern and best of all; available year round! Cots and high chairs are free to borrow and if you’re bringing a dog, all we ask for is a small fee to cover the extra cleaning involved. All of our vans have modern energy efficient central heating systems and come fully furnished with a digital TV. Master with en suite toilet. Two twin bedrooms. Family Shower room. Side decking and steps to main entrance.
