Crosslanes Campsite

Oswestry, Wrekin, England

Welcome to Crosslanes Crosslanes Campsite is set in a stunning four acre wildflower meadow located on the Shropshire/Powys border. Looking over towards local landmarks Breidden Hill and Rodney's Pillar , Crosslanes is only a stones throw away from the River Vyrnwy and River Severn. This is the ideal site for those looking for a few nights away from it all, you'll be surrounded by quiet countryside and have access to gorgeous local walks and cycle routes. Crosslanes Campsite is situated next to two wildlife ponds and you'll be able to watch fish take fly, dragon flies and other insects, as well as seeing our resident moorhens and coots peacefully paddle around. There is an abundance of local wildlife, including African Ibis, Red Kites, Badgers, Egrets, Otters, Foxes, Sparrow Hawks and Owls. There is plenty of space between pitches, meaning that you will be able to enjoy a peaceful evening under the stars, with very little light pollution in our rural setting. Crosslanes Campsite offers limited facilities, we work hard to keep our environmental impact low and offer a traditional camping experience. The site does, however, have a fully flushing toilet and wash hand basin, fresh water. There is no electric or shower facility.
