The site is in a beautiful spot surrounded by open fields and an abundance of wildlife. It is located in Suffolk, close to the charming villages of Felsham and Rattlesden and is only a short drive away from Medieval Lavenham and the Market Town of Bury St Edmunds. Nestling in 10 acres of meadowland this site offers a peaceful children and dog friendly campsite and shepherd's huts where you can enjoy a wild camping experience in our meadowland, campfires, stargazing and an abundance of wildlife. Its is the perfect place to relax, unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Greener Camping Club membership required. Please add it on extra products if you're not a member.
Accommodation types
- Otter Bell Tent — New for 2025, we are now offering a 5 m Bell Tent which has a double bed and a sofa bed for the children. Maximum capacity of 4 people. Out side we offer a picnic bench and fire pit and space for your vehicle. The bell Tent is sited in the main field
- Hedgehog Bell Tent — New for 2025, we are now offering a 5 m Bell Tent which has a double bed and a sofa bed for the children. Maximum capacity of 4 people. Out side we offer a picnic bench and fire pit and space for your vehicle. The bell Tent is sited in the meadow.
- Non-Electric Grass Motorhome Pitch — Caravans and motorhomes are welcome on the main field, this is close walking distance to the limited amenities. Greener Camping Club membership is required. Please add it to extra products if you're not a member.
- Badger Camping Pod — This double glazed hut sleeps 2 adults in a king size bed and up to two children in a bunk style double above. Inside both of the huts you also have a table and 2 chairs, with the use of a fire pit outside. Sheets are provided, however you will need to bring pillows and sleeping bags. Greener Camping Club membership required. Please add it on extra products if you're not a member. Please note, there is no electricity in the Huts
- Rabbit — This hut sited in the meadow sleeps 2 adults in a king size bed and also offers a wood burning stove for those cold evenings. As we do not have any electric hook up on site, the huts do not offer electricity or a kitchen area. The lights are ran from an external battery. Please bring all cooking utensils as if you are camping. We do offer a small fridge and freezer at East Barn.
- Non-Electric Grass Tent Or Trailer Tent Pitch — With Just 5 pitches available within 5 acres of land, you are guaranteed space and privacy. You can set up on the main field or wild camp on one of our limited pitches in the meadow. Greener Camping Club membership is required. Please add it to extra products if you're not a member.
