Jedburgh is a small campsite catering for all types of camper including backpackers. Tent campers have their own separate tree-lined, level area and there is a recreation field beyond.

There’s a lovely riverside walk into town, if you’re lucky you may spot some of the local bird and wildlife. Once in Jedburgh you can follow a two-mile historic town trail which takes in some of the local landmarks – Jedburgh Castle Jail, Queen Mary’s House and Bonnie Prince Charlie’s House.

More seasoned walkers will enjoy the campsite’s proximity to St Cuthbert’s Way and the Borders Abbey Way. Jedburgh is also handy for visiting more border towns including Duns, Kelso, Coldstream and Galashiels.

The 250 square mile Keilder Water and Forest Park is a short drive away, offering a range of activities including walking, cycling, star gazing, sailing and canoeing. Jedburgh is also ideal for anyone wishing to experience the unique common ridings – a spectacular display of horsemanship commemorating the centuries old patrolling of the border country.
