Bank Top Farm is a family run caravan and camping site established in the early 60's and set within the grounds of a working farm lying just outside of Ashbourne in beautiful Derbyshire countryside, set well back from main roads and within the Peak District National Park. The brick built farmhouse and the original farmyard buildings were constructed in the 1850's. We are a small campsite and pride ourselves on providing a 'get away from it all' break. Site open from Easter (or the 1st April) until the end of October. We are taking bookings - see our opening dates below.Our toilet and shower facilities will be open. s. If you are using our toilet block we ask that you wear a face mask and, to help keep yourself and others safe, please ensure you carry and use sanitiser/wipes whilst staying with us. We are not yet out of this pandemic so please remember - "Hands, Face, Space". We will be retaining the "Hands, Face, Space" requirements until the end of the season. Our tariffs are:- Tariff - without electric hook up: Caravan/Trailer Tent & Car/Motor Home, 2 people - £23.00 per night Camper Van (up to 4m length), 2 people - £21.00 per night Tent, 2 people, 1 car - from £20.00 per night Single Person Tent & Car or Motor bike or Single Person in Camper Van - £15.00 per night Hikers & Cyclists - £9.00 per person per night Electric hook up - £4.00 per night Children up to 3 years - free Children from 3 years to 12 years inclusive - £4.00 per night From 13 years and extra adults - £6.00 per night Extra car £5.00 per night Dogs (each) - £4.00 per night Bank Holidays - full payment required 2 weeks before arrival. The Tissington Trail is close by for those wishing to walk or cycle. Carsington Water is a short distance away by car and offers walking, cycling, boating, fly fishing and the opportunity to study the abundance of wildlife from hides by the water's edge. Historic houses, Chatsworth and Haddon Hall, are within striking distance as are the towns of Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton and Matlock. Sudbury Hall which houses the National Children's Museum is also within easy distance.
