Marbury Camp and Lodge was established in 2018 overlooking the Cheshire Plains on the former Duchy of Lancaster Estate near Combermere Abbey. We are a small ‘glamping site that caters for tents, caravans, yurts and the all important luxury glamping pods for all year round get aways. Whilst we may be small and new to glamping, we aim for quality relaxation for busy families and hope to make your stay as personal and enjoyable as possible. Pods We currently have glamping pods and camping on site. The glamping pods were designed by us and sleep up to 4 people. There is a double bed in the bedroom, a double sofa bed in the lounge area and a separate shower and toilet. The pods come with full cooking facilities a refrigerator, eating area, television, central heating and patio overlooking the Cheshire plains. There is also a picnic bench and fire pit with each pod. We provide all the bedding you just provide your own towels. Caravans, Motorhomes and Campers There are currently 5 grass tourer pitches, 4 of which have a hardstanding area. Each pitch has its own 6 amp electric hookup with water and grey water drainage. The pitches are 11m x 11m. Pitches are not allocated before your arrival. Tents and Trailer tents For camping in tents, we have a camping field on a slight gradient. There are 10 6 amp hookup points on the field with drinking water and grey water drainage. As its a camping field we cannot allocate pitches, nor guarantee that you can pitch next to a friend. There is however usually enough space to camp where you want. We have a new (as of 2019) toilet and shower block with a total of four showers, four toilets, four sinks, hand dryers, hairdryer and phone charging points. We also provide automated sanitiser units outside, next to the two dishwashing sinks Family and couple friendly. We offer our clients a range of services from welcome packs, fire pits, fire wood and cycle hire
