Ernies Plot Certificated Site

Ernies Plot is located not far from the A35 near Symondsbury, over looking the amazing Colmers Hill. It’s the ideal location to stay if you love walking the stunning Jurassic Coast or for beautiful country hikes. Or just a one night stop over. Your four legged friends are more than welcome at Ernies Plot with an exercise field on the site. All pitches are double width hard standing with electric and water on each. Our facilities include shower, 2 toilets, hot water and heating. We are 10 minute walk from the Ilchester Arms pub, a little further on is the Manor Yard with restaurant, store, small shops. A 20 minute walk will take you to the Historic Town of Bridport, which holds Street Markets on a Wednesday and Saturday. Or catch the bus a couple minutes walk from the site. X53 or X51 will take you into town. There are plenty of locations to eat out in town. You may want to go on the open top bus (in the summer) to admire those breath taking views of the Jurassic Coast from Swanage to Seaton. West Dorset is full of beautiful scenery, hidden valleys with picturesque villages for you to explore. Coronavirus Update We are taking bookings - see our opening dates below.
