The Anchor Inn is situated on the side of the Shropshire Union Canal approximately 4 miles from Newport (Shropshire). Run by the same family for over 100 years.Two fields one of which is a CL with hookups for Caravan Club members, the other is for camping and non Caravan Club members with 8 hookups for caravans. Recently awarded Pub of the Month January 2015. Previously awarded "Best Public House CL" by the Caravan Club. Recently award Heritage Status of National Importance.
