Beacon Cottage Farm Holidays is part of a traditional Cornish family farm. We are situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Heritage Coast. In 2014 the area was awarded The Dark Skies Status. The Southwest Coast Path passes our door at Wheal Coates, the site of Cornwall’s most iconic tin mine as seen in the popular BBC Poldark television series. Giving direct access to some of the finest sea and coastal scenery in Cornwall. The touring park is part of a traditional working Cornish family farm set in beautiful countryside, a few hundred yards from the sea.A haven for walkers,conservationists, photographers and bird watchers. The 70 individually numbered pitches are set out in six small landscaped paddocks enjoying spectacular sea and coastal views while others are surrounded by trees, offering shelter for those who prefer it. SHOP - We have a small shop selling newspapers, milk and eggs delivered daily. Calor and camping gas sales. Freezer pack service. SHOWERS & TOILETS - Immaculate and spacious washroom, showers and toilets, panelled and tiled throughout with constant free hot water to all sinks and showers. Baby bath, hair dryers and shaving sockets. Baby changing facilities. PRIVATE WASHING ROOMS - 2 Separate ladies washing rooms. FAMILY SHOWER ROOM - Family room with shower, toilet, washbasin and baby changing fascility. LAUNDRY FASCILITIES - Including washing machine, tumble dryer, spinner,and iron. Deep sinks with free hot water for clothes and dish washing. CHILDRENS PLAY AREA - With swings & climbing frames. DOGS EXERCISE FIELD- 1 1/2 acres for your dog to romp in. Nearby Attractions St Agnes is an ideal centre for touring Cornwall with the beautiful Cathedral City of Truro, our main shopping centre, just 10 miles away, and the Eden project, Maritime Museum and the Tate Gallery within easy reach. At Beacon Cottage Farm you are only 10 minutes walk from Chapel Porth beach with its spectacular unspoiled sandy cove offering excellent bathing and surfing, caves to explore and delightful shallow rockpools for little children to play in.
