Enjoy wonderful Northern Irish hospitality in this beautifully situated campsite in County Down. Mountains, coast and countryside are all accessible from our beautiful Club Site at Delamont Country Park, in Northern Ireland. Our campsite sits adjacent to the stunning Delamont Country Park in a peaceful, rural location. Bordered in part by trees Delamont is a level site offering Club Service Pitches, some now benefiting from the addition of hard standings. There is also a modern washblock and a small site shop. There is no play area on this campsite however ball games, kite flying and more can be enjoyed in the park next door where free parking is available for campers. The country park is ideal for stretching the legs. Walk up the hill to the Strangford Stone and you’ll be rewarded with fantastic views over Strangford Lough to the Mourne Mountains. In addition to the fantastic walking, the park is perfect for family picnics, barbecues and games with specially designated areas. You’ll also find Ireland’s only fresh-air gym, an outdoor adventure playground, miniature railway and heronry. The Lough itself is a birdwatcher's paradise – see Brent Geese, Knot and Terns – and enjoy a lough-side walk. Killyleagh just over a mile from the campsite is a pretty town with its own ‘fairytale’ castle and a selection of shops and restaurants. Belfast is also accessible from the campsite and, for a quieter day out, head to the beautiful Mourne Mountains in the south east or head to the Giant’s Causeway on the north coast in County Antrim.
