# Black Knowl Caravan And Motorhome Club Site

Once the royal hunting forest of William the Conqueror and now a beautiful National Park, the Black Knowl (New Forest) Club Site has an open, peaceful aspect while being conveniently located within walking distance of Brockenhurst. The Hampshire caravan site is in a wonderful setting in the forest and in October at night, stags can be heard roaring in the forest, along with owls and other forest creatures. The town offers plenty of good quality restaurants, places of interest and shopping treats to keep everyone in the family happy on their holiday.

Black Knowl (New Forest) Club Site opens onto over 140 miles of lovely walking track for you to explore in the Forest whether on foot, cycle or horseback. For those with an interest in local history, The Lyndhurst Museum and Visitors' Centre will shed more than enough light on the rich and fascinating past of the Forest. Other nearby attractions include The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Exbury Gardens and The New Forest Reptile Centre. For those who dream of taking to the open sea, cruise ships can be viewed on the nearby Solent. You can reach the Isle of Wight via Lymington Ferry and visit Lepe Country Park by the sea with a cafe (seasonal and weekend openings) and children's play area and BBQ area for hire. If you fancy some retail therapy, the Southampton and Bournemouth shopping centres are within easy driving distance from the caravan park and will leave you spoilt for choice.

If you are fancying a take away, Brockenhurst has a great choice. Details of all restaurants, take aways and days out are available in our Information Room.
