The facilities are excellent here: there is a well-equipped camp kitchen, a large sheltered dining area (the ‘Flock and Feed’) which can accommodate up to 20 people, hot showers (towels are provided), private composting loos and an area called ‘The Gather Round’ where people can congregate and meet up with other guests. A digital detox is available to those who want to take the plunge of completely unplugging and switching off. The campsite provides lockers to hide away all tech distractions if you crave some genuine digital peace - it is a brave but excellent move, and with all the things going on here, chances are you won’t even miss it.
