Willow Acres Campsite Nestled amongst the willow trees & wildflower meadows of the stunning Torfaen countryside is Willow Acres Campsite. With spectacular views of the surrounding hills and valleys, get yourself a slice of peace and tranquillity in our traditional and environmental campsite. This small friendly site is run by the farming families of Lasgarn farm. The working farm is home to 300 sheep and a herd of welsh black cattle and is run using traditional farming methods. You'll see a glimpse of farming life and these well-tended animals in adjoining areas of the farm. It is especially exciting during lambing and calving seasons. At just under 2 acres each pitch has been carefully arranged giving each family bags of space and privacy. With so much to do locally, we hope you will also find moments to just relax and unwind on the cosy campsite and enjoy the extra comforts that make all the difference to a camping holiday. - Snowy And Lumpy Pitch — Our spacious camping pitch for a large tent. There is a covered kitchen area which is fully equipped with everything you need to cook as well as a gas hob and picnic bench. The cover extends to the fire pit area in case of rain. This pitch has its own private outdoor quirky covered shower & a compost toilet in the interest of being as sustainable as possible on our new site. Greener Camping Club membership required. - Curly Pitch — Our spacious camping pitch, ideal for large tents. There is a covered kitchen area which is fully equipped with everything you need to cook as well as a gas hob and picnic bench. The cover extends to the fire pit area in case of rain so that you could sit and relax whatever the weather. This pitch has its own private outdoor quirky covered shower & compost toilet in the interest of being as sustainable as possible on our new site. Greener Camping Club membership required. - Rose-Marie — This pitch is our premium pitch which is a converted horsebox lorry. It is a quirky space that is suitable for a family or a couple. This is a large unit which the whole family will love as it’s a bit different and fun. There is an outside balcony to sit and enjoy looking out over the meadow and the spectacular views beyond. There are 3 sleeping areas, (3 small doubles) which are above the cab, the kitchen area and a sofa bed in the living area. The accommodation is provided for those who love the idea of camping but can’t cope with all the fuss of putting up tents and having a hard floor to sleep on! Yes -it's cheating but who will know? In the horsebox there are solar powered lights, a phone charger and pumped water and sink, plus a small gas stove for the morning coffee. Outside there is a beautiful covered kitchen area with a handcrafted kitchen bench, which is fully equipped with everything you need to cook as well as a gas hob and picnic bench. The cover extends to the fire pit area in case of rain. This pitch makes use of our bathroom facilities in the block provided, which has 2 toilets and a shower. - Jill Pitch — Our sheltered corner camping pitch is also suitable for a campervan. This pitch has its own outdoor covered kitchen with gas hob and everything you need to cook, as well as a picnic bench. The cover extends to the fire pit area where you can enjoy the peace, tranquility and serenity of the counrtyside, enjoying the exquisite views. This pitch can make use of our bathroom facilities in the block which has 2 toilets and a shower. Running water available nearby. Greener Camping Club membership required.
