# The Bike Place in Kielder

> The Bike Place Mountain bike hire from Kielder, supplying Northumberland. Also selling bikes, accessories and spares.

The Bike Place is located in Kielder Water and Forest Park. This largest man made lake in Northern Europe, surrounded by forest creates a superb habitat for rare animals and birds. Within the forest and around the lake, there are a varied range of cycle trails suitable for all abilities. We have over 125km of purpose built trails, ranging from the green grade Lakeside Way (full circuit of Kielder Water), then the blue grade Osprey Trail and for more serious mountain bikers there are three red grade trails (Deadwater, Lonesome Pine and Bloody Bush).
We supply a full range of bikes for hire for kids and adults. As well as hard tail bikes we hire full suspension MTB's and are a Demo Centre for electric bikes from Haibike and Lapierre.
Open every day at Kielder Cycle Centre, and bookings can be made online at www.thebikeplace.co.uk or by calling on 01434 250457.
