‘Brynhaul’ meaning ‘Sun Hill’ – Sits in full, panoramic view of Pembrokeshire’s highest point. We offer you this tranquil, mostly off-grid, clover field campsite, along with its two secluded Shepherds huts with exclusive hot tub as an optional extra. Here you can enjoy rural remoteness and yet be in easy reach of all of Pembrokeshire’s stunning coast, landscape and amenities. Welcome to the six and a half acres, with only 10 camping pitches, 3 hard standings for small campers and our 2 shepherds huts you are spoilt with plenty of space, to chill, explore or have as your adventure base. Pembrokeshire is an outdoor instructor’s playground, with Canoeing, sailing, hiking, Climbing, Kayaking, Stand up Paddleboarding, Coasteering or just chilling, to mention a few. For us, the priceless part is star gazing and sunsets – it is so dark here you feel the stars are in touching distance and the sunsets – we could probably photograph 100 or more a year! Accommodation types
- Hedgerow Hut and Hot Tub — The Hedgerow Hut 'Tiny House' is open plan, with an adventurous double bed on a deck, accessed by a ladder, where you can view the world through the glass front of the cabin. The deck also rises to make even more room. Two sofa beds are available if you don’t feel so nimble, or if you are a family of 3 or 4. There is a well equipped decent size kitchen area and a BBQ is available. Hedgerow Hut has a generous en-suite designed in. As well as inside seats, there is ample outside seating, to enjoy that evening glass of wine or even the morning cuppa. A very quiet hideaway to do absolutely nothing or fully explore the natural beauty of our coastline, hills or the neolithic heritage of the blue stones. Come, unwind and be refreshed, soak in the views of the highest point in the Preseli Hills from your chair or even from bed! Hedgerow Hut is self-catering, however, breakfast can be booked by prior arrangement. Did we mention the hot tub? Now imagine, your favourite drink, watching the sun go down and so little light pollution that you can watch the stars as they come out one by one. Greener Camping Club membership required. - Tent Camping / Campervan Pitch — Each spacious, Campervan/Camping pitch has a hard standing area, a spacious grass area, a large picnic table to seat 6 people and a fire pit, all ready for your chilled-out camping adventure. This pitch is suitable for both guests camping in tents, as well as guests bringing along campervans. There are 4 uniquely designed, roomy hot showers, designed and crafted by Steve. An undercover area provides hot water washing up sinks, a shared fridge and freezer as well a USB charging base. Here you'll also find lots of exploring ideas, however, we enjoy sharing ideas face to face, and have extensive local knowledge to help you plan and get the most out of your stay in beautiful Pembrokeshire. The Clover fields are a car-free zone, however, weather and site permitting, cars can access to set up and take down camp only. Greener Camping Club membership required. - Skylark Shepherds Hut with Hot tub — Our brand new in 2021 ‘Skylark’ is ready for your holiday now! We have placed her right on the edge of the field for you, so you can sit at the breakfast bar while you gaze into Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and watch the occasional fox wandering over the field as a red Kite circle, checking out a possible snack, and the swallows swoop and feast on bugs as you look over to the highest point in the Preseli Mountains. Your kitchen is well fitted and thought out, you can bake it, boil it, BBQ it, grill it, chill it, fry it, or even microwave it!! All you need to do is bring your choice of food and drinks. Or dine Al-fresco around the BBQ /fire pit. There is a double bed that rises out of the way in the daytime, giving you a snug dining area underneath and the 2 sofas double up as single beds with storage under them. There is something nice about snuggling up in a warm bed, after a day of exploring and being so close to nature. Skylark Shepherds Hut also has a comfortable en suite bathroom. Skylark Shepherds Hut is well-positioned for exploring hills and coastlines, from the comfort and cosiness of a well thought out home from home that is yours for the duration of your holiday.
