A smaller hard standing pitch with Electric hook up (10amp) A smaller grassed area, closer to the toilets – Ideal for smaller motorhomes or caravans with motor mover, no awning. (Please note  on our small standard pitch, motorhomes and camper vans may need levelling blocks/ramps.)

Small Hardstanding Standard Pitch

Our meadow alongside little river the Nant Cwm Cyffyng – it is sheltered by hedges and trees on the riverside and wild hedges on the other. A blaze of gold in the early spring with Dandelions followed by Meadow Buttercup, Lady’s Smock is coming back and Foxgloves make a wonderful show along the hedges in June and July. All this is home to a myriad of Butterflies and Insects that busily go about their daily lives.

There is woodland on the hillside beside the river which in spring is filled with bluebells – wood anemones are beginning to spread among them too. The old post route used to go from Pistyllgwn to Bryny y Cadno along the old fence line and then on up the river across the ford.

We have noted about 40 different birds even in our short time living here. We do feed them all year round to give them a helping hand and it is wonderful to see them bring the young to feed, Squirrels are quite happy to join in and are such characters to spend time watching.

The camping pitches tucked against the hedges and are hidden in the long grasses. Each pitch has its own picnic bench and campfire ring and grill for the must do outdoor cooking experence.

Our lovely Bell Tent for Four, Simply but comfortably furnished. 

Logs and firelighters, marshmallows and other goodies are available from the farmhouse. There is a chopping block log on each pitch so you can chop your kindling wood. 

Inclusive of Private Compost Loo and Your own Camp Kitchen Facilities and Gas, Picnic Bench, Campfire Pit with Grill, Bedding and Extra Blankets and Hot Water Bottles (Note: Towels are not provided)  Shower and Washup are Shared Facilities

We are one mile from junction 48 of the M4, centrally located to visit any attraction in South and West Wales, from Cardiff and the valleys to the East, all parts of Pembrokeshire to our West, the Towy Valley and the Brecon Beacons to our North and the Gower peninsula to the South.
