Our site is on the edge of the Huby village and is a huge grassy area with a number of fire pits with toilet and showering facilities as well as an emptying point and we also have electric hook up points, if desired. We are dog friendly but would ask that dogs are kept on leads at all times and owners respect the site by cleaning up after their pets using the bins provided. We want you to feel relaxed so happy for you to have music playing, however, we would ask that this is turned down at 11pm to respect the local areas residents. The local amenities which are within walking distance include a couple of local pubs, a park and postoffice/newsagents. There are many lovely walks to suit all abilities and also cycling, which is popular due to flat countryside. Fox Covert is about 4 miles from the beautiful and picturesque village of Easingwold near the North Yorkshire Moors with plenty of shops and places to eat, as well as a cinema. Thirsk, is also close by and York is located 9 miles away from the site. Other attractions include the Hamilton Hills offering lots of lovely walks.
