Just 4 miles from Cromer, 8 miles from Sheringham and 18 miles from the historic city of Norwich. Adjacent Thorpe Market village green on the A149 Cromer to North Walsham road. The local bus stop is situated on the village green next to Poppyland driveway. There is a Route Map HERE. Gunton Railway Station, approx 1 mile from Poppyland, is on the Bittern Line & links Norwich to Cromer & Sheringham. The North Norfolk Quiet Lanes Project is nearby where walkers and cyclists are encouraged to use the quiet rural byways. Poppyland Caravan Touring Park and Puddleduck Self-Catering Holiday Cottage are both sited to the rear of Poppyland Cottage which is a Grade II listed building and formerly the village post office and shop. Poppyland proprietors, Billy & Pam, are resident in Poppyland Cottage and are on hand to welcome you upon arrival and to help you settle in. If, at the end of a long journey, you dread reversing your caravan onto your pitch, Billy would be happy to do it for you. Dogs welcome at Poppyland Caravan Park Non-aggressive, well-behaved, dogs are very welcome to stay at both the Touring Park and Puddleduck Self-Catering Holiday Cottage.
