Bournemouth is the largest resort in Dorset and is an ever-popular place to visit due to its seven miles of glorious award-winning beaches, stunning coastline, the many parks and gardens and a huge variety of restaurants, shops, accommodation and things to do.
Kids and grown ups will love Smugglers Cove Adventure golf which is situated next to Bournemouth Pier - another great attraction with indoor climbing, a zip wire and many cafes and restaurants. Away from the Pier there are also museums, galleries, amusement arcades, play parks and an Oceanarium. For those with a head for heights, the Big Wheel - standing more than 100 feet tall - provides panoramic views of the beach, pier and town.
Interesting Bournemouth fact: beach huts actually originated here in 1908 and you can rent the worlds oldest beach hut! (of course, if you want something more modern you can rent a newer hut or even a funky beach pod!)
