Cumbrae - also know as Great Cumbrae - is one of Scotlands most accessible islands and situated on the Ayrshire coast in the Scottish Highlands. If you take a short 8 minute ferry ride over from Largs, you arrive at Millport - a lovely seaside town with a Victorian promenade and lots of pretty stone cottages. You can hire bikes from here and explore by cycling around some of the islands roads to see the stunning coastline at its best.
