Taking some time out to go walking, cycling or birdwatching? Perhaps for more adventurous pursuits like watersports or treetop courses too? College Farm Glamping is in a good spot to get in some quality downtime with rural surroundings in the north Lincolnshire village of Alkborough, 40 minutes drive away from Hull.

Part of a working farm, this luxury glamping site is 35 minutes walk away from the Alkborough Flats nature reserve, prime birdwatching, walking or cycling patch, and 10 minutes from Normanby Hall, where there’s a Go Ape course and a golf course in the grounds of a Regency mansion.

Tasty treats may become a nice part of your daily routine here, as there’s a tearoom on site where you can fuel up for the day (or refill in between activities). There are a few restaurants and a farm shop within 10 minute drive of the site too, so you’ll always be able to trace the way to some more food spots, whether it’s to eat out, buy snacks for on the go or gather bits for the barbecue.

Walking and cycling paths are in no short supply in the surrounding area. The views on the routes are rather scenic, as the Humber, Ouse and Trent rivers join up nearby. The local wetland nature reserve has plenty of waterside scenery too, as you might expect.

Dogs are also permitted on site, which may come as good news to those of you who are inseparable from your canine companion.

Sat in a 10 acre camping field, it is the perfect get away with local shops and pubs.

There is a kettle, hob and microwave. We DO NOT provide bedding. Dogs allowed but must be kept off the furniture and kept on a lead outside.

No smoking inside the pod.

There is a licensed clubhouse on site but will only open busy weekends and Christmas day and New year's Eve for food and drink.

the army trailer has its own toilet and shower but is only a 30 second walk from the campsite toilets or clubhouse.

you will have access to the full campsite including the laundry room, toilets, showers, clubhouse (if open), table tennis, etc.

Folly Field Certificated Site

Torne Bank Fishery is an over 10 years established mixed coarse fishery located near Epworth, Doncaster, North Lincolnshire. It has excellent facilities, lots of parking and a friendly approach. 25 spacious pegs and open 7am to 7pm. Main view back to toilet block What's New? 2021 Season - Covid19 update Open to arrive from 7am, Monday to Sunday. All anglers to have left by 7pm. Monday to Friday are available for pleasure fishing. When entering the facility, please drive anti-clockwise around the pond, to the rear of peg 24 is a barrow full of pellets of which every angler takes two bags. The Bailiff will collect £10, which includes the cost of the pellets. For further information please contact Steve - 07776 096181 or via the Facebook page. No sharing of fishing swims (peg) except with a member of the same family (eg adult and child) Men's toilet block will be open - follow guidelines. Angling to be undertaken on a solitary basis - social distancing rules, as per government guidelines must be met at all times.

Situated in a secluded, tranquil setting within its own character, the fishery provides exciting fly fishing for Rainbow, Blue & Brown Trout. The crystal clear water lake is full of lively and healthy trout ranging from 2lbs up to 20lb.

With generous stock, strategically placed swims, mown lawns and views across open Lincolnshire countryside close to Kirton in Lindsey, Scunthorpe / Lincoln & Gainsborough, Cleatham Trout Fishery is guaranteed to provide an excellent days trout fishing in a friendly and relaxed environment with light refreshments & snacks usually available.

For those wishing to stay overnight or longer we can accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes within our Caravan Club registered private & secluded campsite with perimeter hedges and beautiful views over the local countryside.

Stone Cottage Certificated Location

Butterswood Lodge is situated in the tranquil village of Goxhill, near Barton On Humber in North Lincolnshire. The Lakes and Cottages are set back from the road in approximately 11 acres of mature, tree lined ground, providing a secluded fishing and visiting experience. There is a varied range of natural wildlife on site.

The fishery is made up of three fishing lakes that contain mirror and common carp (mirror, common, ghost, koi and crucian), tench, barbel, chubb, roach, rudd, perch and hide.

There is a car park on site but Butterswood Lodge accept no responsibility for loss or damage to goods or vehicles whilst on site.

We are closed on Tuesdays except for Membership holders, who can fish 7 days a week, 365 days per year.

The site benefits from a small on-site bait shop stocking Baits, unhooking mats and hooks.

Season ticket membership is available, however fishing can be accessed on a day ticket basis.

There are two holiday cottages on site providing comfortable and homely self-catering holiday facilities.

Cottage guests have an exclusive large private fishing area, accessed via the rear of each cottage, but they can use any of the 3 ponds.

Beech Cottage is a 2 storey, 1 double bedroomed and 1 double sofa bed, with a conservatory and lake aspect.

Oak Cottage is a single storey, 2 bedroomed, 1 double and 1 king, with a lake aspect view.

In addition to the fishing lakes, the grounds have picnic areas available for the use of holiday guests as well as day ticket visitors and members.

Down the road from our site there is the Humber Bank, perfect for a lovely

Within the village is the local shop with Post Office, a Butchers, a park and
The Bay Horse Inn.

Keviki Certificated Site

This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example. 1.5 acres, level.

The Rancher Certificated Site

Richard and Sue welcome you to Hillcrest - our family home since 1995. We have been developing our Caravan and Camping Club Certificated Site for your enjoyment. We have a rally field (Beyond the fence) which doubles as an area for football and dogwalking, well away from campers and caravans. Wi-fi is included in your pitch fee. 

 

Hillcrest in days gone by was a working farm and owned much of the surrounding land. Gradually over the years bits of land were sold off and the property became a domestic dwelling rather than agricultural. We purchased the property 20 years ago and have renovated it to its current state.

 

Being well out of the village we are lucky to have a wide variety of wildlife including foxes (hence why our hens are kept in a run), badgers, bats and deer. Bird life here is prevalent with buzzards, herons, owls, woodpeckers etc. At one time we were lucky enough to have a badger create a set in our garden but they can be frequently seen along the railway or bumbling along the road. The Cleethorpes to Barton line runs along the back of our property. There are stations at Thornton Abbey & Ulceby, both being quite close by.

Here you’ll find an award-winning set of quality fishing lakes on a well-run site with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. There’s a choice of eight pools for both the match and pleasure angler, all of which are available for competition and event bookings, whether it’s a 10 peg club match or 400 peg national. Our match record now stands at a whopping 321lb 8oz and we have carp to well over 20lb too. Garbolino Lindholme Lakes is proud to be a regular choice for Fish O’ Mania, Maver Match This and Angling Trust National Championships. We are regularly visited by some of the biggest names in the sport, including Alan Scotthorne, Tommy Pickering and Bob Nudd. In 2013 we were voted ‘Stillwater of the year’ by Angling Times.

The venue has gone from strength to strength in recent years and now has its own café, bar area and comprehensively stocked tackle and bait shop. We have a touring caravan site plus a host of luxury caravans and lodges which can be purchased or rented, making it the perfect fishing holiday destination too. Garbolino Lindholme is also home to lots of wildlife and birdlife in its picturesque setting and is very family orientated.

We are a friendly, adults only caravan and camping park located in a peaceful area of North Lincolnshire, just 150 yds from the River Trent.

Caravanners, campers and motorhomers are most welcome to stay on our picturesque caravan & camping site. Overlooking our six tenths of an acre fishing pond and with some plots boasting distant views over the golf course and beyond, our site is the perfect spot for exploring or relaxing.

All pitches boast electric hook-up and pitch-side parking is available for at least one vehicle. Our quaint site has a small amenity block onsite, with access to clean, drinking water, showers , toilets and waste disposal points available 24/7. This has been recently refitted, with separate washrooms for gents and ladies.

All of our pitches are well sized with generous spacing, perfect for an awning, larger tent or motorhome. We have limited hardstanding pitches available, approximately 50% of the touring only pitches, these are located at the foot of the woodland that winds around the entrance to the property.

We run two tariffs  high and low season  with the former being school holidays at Easter, in May, July & August and in October half term. All other periods are considered low season.
