The pretty village of Port Isaac is one of Cornwalls most famous and most desirable holiday locations. It is situated on a dramatic stretch of coastline a few miles north of the surfing village of Polzeath and south of the mystical Tintagel, home to the ruins of King Arthurs castle. A large part of the area around Port Isaac - both the coast and countryside - has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's absolutely gorgeous. And if you feel like you recognise it, chances are you do - the popular series of Doc Martin was filmed here down the pretty cobbled streets and along the seafront.
