We're an independent, community run hostel conveniently situated within effortless walking distance of Papa Westray's stunning beaches, archaeological and historic websites (including Knap of Howar, St Tredwell's Chapel and St Boniface Kirk), seaside walks, RSPB North Hill and neighborhood amenities. Our hostel is warm, friendly and comfortable with private spaces, two modern well prepared kitchens for self-catering, spacious dining area, a lounge with television, DVD player, games and books and a sizable yard overlooking the island together with ocean. The hostel accommodation comes in 6 personal single, twin, dual and family rooms and all sorts of of our rooms have shower en-suite facilities, separately controlled heating that is main bedding, towels and sea views. We offer beds in provided spaces subject to accessibility and have one dog room that is friendly by arrangement*. The hostel has a heated cabinet that is drying our large lawn area provides space for campers with access to a hostel kitchen area, living area and WC. Found in the middle associated with the area, 10 minutes walk through the Papa Westray airfield, around 2 miles through the ferry pier and close to a residential district that is well-stocked, we offer the perfect base to explore the stunning area of Papa Westray.
