Tan Aeldroch is a 42 acre Welsh sheep farm. Now run as a Nature Reserve, the current owners have been working to restore the natural ecology of the valley since 2003. Tan Aeldroch has been a well established campsite since 1951 and many people return year after year to enjoy its unique setting. ​Nestled in the stunning Lledr valley, Camp Snowdonia offers a true back-to-nature camping experience. The site is beautiful and peaceful, and comprises two flat fields - bordered on one side by the mighty Lledr River. It's a quiet haven - about as close to 'wild' camping as you can get on a site. No music allowed, quiet site. We sell packs of wood for £5. Please do not bring your own wood. Please note: There are no washing up facilitiesor elsan / toilet disposal facilities.
