We are ideally located to visit many Speyside Whisky distilleries and explore the local history and heritage of the region. With so many activities like wildlife exploring, fishing, golf and skiing the opportunities for getting out and about are endless. Enjoy the many bike trails in the area. We are situated only 8 miles from The Coffee Still Café which is a popular rendezvous for people riding the new Glenlivet Estate Mountain Bike Trails. We can offer secure bike storage & bike wash facilities.

Castles & Houses – Aberdeenshire, home to the only Scottish Castle Trail. The trail consists of 14 castles, from the rugged splendour of Kildrummy Castle to the romantic ruins of Huntly Castle approx 25 miles from Thistle Dhu. Balvenie Castle is 15 miles.
