We can’t wait to welcome you for your Glamping or Log Cabin stay! Come and see for yourselves how Kingfisher Lakes can be the perfect place for you. This is a very small, family-run site close to our working potato farm so you can expect a friendly, one-to-one, tailored guest experience. Reconnect with nature. Spot deer. Catch a fish. Read a book. Paddle into the sunset in a kayak. Hit the beach. Explore rockpools. Toast marshmallows. Stargaze. Enjoy one another and make memories…all from your cosy base under canvas. If you don’t normally do camping then glamping is an easy transition to it, or perhaps you’re a seasoned camper who just fancies a load more comfort without the hassle of putting your tent up and bringing bedding. Fantastic facilities within the shared washrooms and kitchen area make this an easy place to relax. Kayaks and firepits can be hired for you to enjoy as and when you wish throughout your stay; they certainly add a bit of magic in the memory-making department! Or perhaps you’re after some real luxury and a romantic getaway for two in a lakeside log cabin with a sublime log-fired Scandinavian-style hot tub. Couples, young families, older kids or groups... Whichever best describes you, we’re sure you’ll find contentment here! Please note: we are a small site focussing on relaxing in nature with a ‘peaceful from 10:30pm policy’ and are unable to permit amplified music/speakers etc… therefore if you have any potential party animals in your group of guests then this isn’t your ideal place for a getaway! You will need to bring : • Food & Drink (there is a well-stocked Costcutter store in the village and we can always recommend a few places to get takeaway or to eat in close by) • Toiletries & Towels (towels can be hired from us for £5 per person) • Eyemasks/earplugs are recommended! It’s light very early in the Summer months! • Wellies, warm layers & waterproof jackets (although hopefully you won’t need them!) • Fold up camping chairs for sitting out on the grass if you wish • Torch for night time loo trips! • Charcoal and firelighters for your BBQ

Lily Pad Yurt — Sleeping 2-4 they are perfect for couples or smaller families, they are a magical round space housing a double bed and two single futon beds; a very special experience. The Yurt even has a wooden front door. There is a log-burning stove to keep you cosy, electric lighting, along with plenty of storage. So all you have to do is relax straight into your hassle-free camping trip; we’ve even provided fairy lights and bunting for extra cuteness. Soft, cosy bedding is provided on all the beds required for the number of people in your tent. We use really cosy duvets and brushed cotton bedding to give you that extra comfort as you climb into bed for a peaceful night under canvas. With a large outdoor area, chunky table and benches and a BBQ, you can sit and ponder the lakeside view, stunning sunsets and the night skies. Enjoy some kayaking on the lakes or simply let nature wash over you and take it all in. The fantastic facilities on site (kitchen barn and washrooms) are close by for your convenience.
Evergreen Lodge Log Cabin — Perfect for families, they have two bedrooms separated by canvas; a living area and a perfect covered decking outdoors. The latest addition to Kingfisher Lakes is a large lakeside Log Cabin with a fabulous log-fired hot tub on the balcony. Open all year round for family or group holidays, with such a stunning view of the lake and surrounding countryside it’s the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway in nature. Feed the soul, unplug and recharge.
Barn Owl Bell Tent — Due to high demand for spaces this Summer we have added a beautiful Bell Tent that sleeps up to 6 people. Inside this spacious 6 metre Bell Tent you will find a cosy base under canvas to enjoy glamping in the heart of nature right next to our fields. With a double mattress on a pine bed frame, another double mattress on the comfy coir flooring and a pull out sofabed; all with toasty duvets, pillows and bedding provided, this option would suit those who want to feel they are camping but without any hassle of putting up a tent and blowing up airbeds! There are pretty glamping additions as you would expect such as rugs, cushions, fairylights and bunting as well as a small fridge and electric kettle. You will be close to the shared kitchen barn area where we provide each tent with it's own box of crockery/cutlery; there are plenty of pots, pans and utensils in here too. You may want to bring some extra camping chairs if you have them for sitting outside, although a wooden picnic table with benches is provided, along with a BBQ (so you'll just need to bring your own charcoal).
Otter’s Den Safari Lodge — The newest Safari Lodge. A similar style to the larger Dragonfly Dreams but with two bedrooms. It can comfortably house 7 people and is closest to the shared kitchen area. There is a corner sofa bed for lounging in front of the log-burning stove in the large living area. This provides a sleeping solution for 2 people if required. A spacious table and bench seating area for indoor dining and board game playing space. There is also a kitchen-type dresser unit, housing a small fridge and kettle, perfect for making your hot drinks or preparing snacks. With electric lighting at the flick of a switch this really will be a luxury home from home under canvas. The outdoor decking area boasts a built in outdoor bench seat to soak up the stunning view of the sunsets over the fields. A grassed area in front of your tent is ideal to sit together round a firepit, toasting marshmallows and star-gazing. This tent is closest to the shared kitchen and picnic area for extra convenience and all your camp cooking needs.
Sunset Lodge Log Cabin — Available all year round, our beautiful log cabin is the perfect romantic hideaway for two. Balconies over the lake provide you with amazing views over the fields, sunsets and starry nights, which you can gaze at from your log-fired outdoor hot tub. You’ll only need your toiletries and your own food & drink (and some charcoal if you would like to use the BBQ).
Willow Lodge Log Cabin — Available all year round, our beautiful log cabin is the perfect romantic hideaway for two. Balconies over the lake provide you with amazing views over the fields, sunsets and starry nights, which you can gaze at from your log-fired outdoor hot tub. You’ll only need your toiletries and your own food & drink (and some charcoal if you would like to use the BBQ).
Dragonfly Dreams Safari Lodge — The biggest glamping ‘tent’ although it doesn’t really feel like a tent when you’re inside. With 3 bedrooms separated by wooden walls, it can comfortably house 10 people, ideal for two families sharing, or with multi-generations, the adventurous grandparents love this tent! A corner sofa (can provide an extra sleeping space) is great for lounging in front of the log-burning stove. There is a spacious table with bench seating and a kitchen-type dresser unit for making your hot drinks or preparing sandwiches. With electric lighting, as well as a handy fridge and kettle, this really will be a luxury home from home.
