East Riding is a historic country within Yorkshire and is located in Northeastern England. It is a well known favourite holiday spot due to its popular seaside towns of Bridlington, Hornsea and Withernsea. Bridlington is a very popular resort and offers many activites for all the family whatever the weather when you visit! Hornsea is a more peaceful stay in comparison to the bustle of Bridlington, but it still has many good attractions; the fantastic Hornsea Museum, crazy golf, a model village and the largest freshwater lake in Yorkshire - Hornsea Mere - great for fishing and boating. Further down the coast, the seaside promenade at Withernsea offers lots of attractions and there is an inland lighthouse which has now been turned into a museum.
