The distinctive twin towers of Lizard Lighthouse mark the most southerly point of mainland Britain. See displays depicting Trinity House's history, housed in the original engine room. It was commissioned in 1752. For over 250 years, the lighthouse has provided a welcoming landfall light to vessels crossing the Atlantic Ocean.

Tours of Lizard Lighthouse are organised under licence from the Corporation of Trinity House.

If you have always wanted to experience the thrill of surfing  well nows your chance! Based at the beautiful National Trust beach of Poldhu, near Mullion, we offer safe, relaxed and friendly surf tuition for adults and children alike. We are located right next door to the excellent Poldhu Beach Cafe, serving hot snacks and drinks 364 days a year! With RNLI lifeguard cover between Easter and October.

Prices.

Lessons cost &pound;35 for a 2 hour session (this includes wetsuit, surfboard and all necessary equipment)
We run a morning slot (10.00am) and an afternoon slot (1.00pm) and meet next to the Poldhu Beach Cafe
As long as you can swim 50 metres and are over 8 years old we can teach you to surf. There is no upper age limit and we also have experience of teaching disabled children and adults. Surfing is an amazing experience which you will remember forever  all you have to do now is give it a go!
