Welcome to Birchwood Camping, Old Hall Farm, a small secluded site in the hamlet of Hatfield on the Herefordshire/Worcestershire border. We are a small family run site with just 11 pitches set out over 6.5 acres of picturesque farmland giving everyone plenty of space. A further 26 acres of traditional pastureland are freely accessible to visitors with far-reaching views towards mid-Wales. Our season runs from May 1st through to October 31st. Birchwood Fishing and Camping is a lovely quiet campsite set in the surrounding countryside of Skegness. For Tents, Tourers or Day Fishing. The site is naturally divided by ancient hedgerows into two distinct areas, an open meadow adjacent to the main shower/toilet facilities with 6 pitches inc one designated for camper vans. A second area “The Quarry” is more secluded with just 4 pitches and is bordered by a stream, a disused steam railway embankment and the remnants of ancient quarry working. Whether a family or couple seeking to reconnect with nature, as proud members of the Greener Camping Club Birchwood Camping offers a unique camping experience including the option of a real campfire. **Things to do: ** There is plenty to do in the locality including horse riding, golf, fishing, walking, visiting antique centres, national trust properties, Although in a rural position we are just minutes away from the three market towns of Leominster, Bromyard and Tenbury Wells. - Campervan Pitch — Our 2 dedicated camper van pitches are situated in our natural 5-acre meadow. This gently sloping south-facing meadow where the pitches are mown into the long grass is ideal for families. Greener Camping Club membership required. - The Quarry Pitch — The Quarry is ideal for those seeking an even more secluded camping experience the field is surrounded by mature woodland, has a small stream in one corner, is adjacent to an old steam railway embankment and the remnants of the old quarry face are still partially visible. - Bell Tent — Sited on our natural 5-acre meadow is our pre-erected 5-metre bell tent “Barn Owl”, ideal for those new to camping or seeking to book something for a few days at short notice.
