This makes for easy access around the caravan site, from the charmingly named Iron Horse Meadows to Poachers Paradise. If you want to leave the car behind for an excursion or if you're simply a rail enthusiast, the railway is a five minute walk away. There is a pleasant pub adjacent to Crossways Club Site, serving good food. The caravan park is within convenient reach of a wealth of interesting attractions at the nearby town of Weymouth. Also close by is the harbour town of Poole, with its blue flag beaches and Lighthouse Arts Centre, and a short drive from the site brings you to the historic market town of Dorchester.
