Google's hotel search

Your prices in Google's hotel search

When someone searches Google for a place to stay near you, your campground can show up with your prices and free dates. They click through to your page on holidayfox.com and book there.

A campsite pitched in open countryside, the kind of stay travellers find on Google
  1. Someone searches Google

For a place to stay in your area.

  2. Your campground shows up

With your prices and the dates you have free.

  3. They book on holidayfox.com

The reservation lands in your calendar like any other.

What you need to know

On every plan

Every campground listed on holidayfox.com goes in, on every plan. No Google account, nothing to set up.

The same price as any booking

5% of the booking, the same as any booking through us. Card fees are separate: Stripe, the card-payment company, takes its standard fee (2.9% + 30¢ for US cards).

Your dates stay right

Google gets the same calendar as everything else, so a night sold on Hipcamp or Booking.com doesn't show as free.

Google decides what it shows

We send Google your prices and free dates. We can't promise a place in its results or a number of clicks.

Do I need a Google account?

No. We send your campground, prices and free dates to Google for you.

Do campers pay on Google?

No. Google sends them to your page on holidayfox.com, and they book and pay there.

Is this Google ads?

No. It's Google's hotel search, which shows places to stay with their prices. We don't sell ads.
