You cannot visit Fife without taking a trip out to the coast. There are countless stunning beaches, quaint fishing villages and hidden gems to discover along the Fife Coastal Path which stretches 117 miles and is Scotlands longest continuous coastal path. Cosmopolitan St Andrews is near the top of the coast path, and while we all know of course that it was the wooing ground of our future King, this town also boasts a stunning beach, a ruined castle overlooking the sea, a cathedral and a good aquarium. South of here and further along the path, explore the picturesque fishing villages of Crail, Anstruther, Pittenweem, St Monans, Elie and beyond, all with plenty of fantastic outdoor activities and amazing wildlife. Take a boat trip out to the Isle of May to see Puffins and seals in huge numbers.
