What OwnerRez is, and what they do well
Online calendar + free channel manager + booking buttons + portals for your team, owners and cleaners. Paid add-ons: property-management statements, QuickBooks, hosted websites, a WordPress plugin, SMS, and Rezzy AI ($9 per property/month as shown).
Things they genuinely do well:
- It is a real holiday-let booking system. Calendar, booking engine, channels, and owner statements if you pay for that add-on.
- Published USD table, not a hidden quote. As shown on ownerrez.com/support/articles/costs-and-fees (updated about a week before 2026-09-13): 1st property $40/month; properties 2–3 $15 each; 4th $10; 5–9 $8; 10–19 $7; 20–49 $6; 50–99 $4; 100–199 $3; 200+ $2. Three properties is $70/month before premiums. No setup, booking or contract fees. 14-day trial.
- The channel manager is included in the base fee. That is why a host on several listing sites buys them.
- Rezzy AI is their guest-messaging assistant inside OwnerRez ($9 per property/month). It is not a chat on your own website that knows which dates are free in HolidayFox.
If your priority is “a USD channel manager with no booking commission, and I will handle evenings in their inbox,” OwnerRez is a credible answer. We will not pretend our commission is cheaper than $40 a month on software cost at one property.
What HolidayFox is, and where we are different
HolidayFox is a direct booking system for independent stays. A Book now button on your website, a chat that answers guests any time of day, and one calendar for every booking. We set it up for you.
Guests pay by card on your website through the Book now button. Paying inside the chat is still rolling out. Bookings from Pitchup, Airbnb and Booking.com land in the same calendar, so you're never double-booked. You don't need OwnerRez to run it.
