The guest found you on Pitchup yesterday and your own site today. If those diaries disagree, you double-book or you look closed. iCal is how the same nights block everywhere.
I run HolidayFox, so this is not a neutral page. Pitchup stays a discovery channel. The leak is the guest who already has your URL and still pays the OTA because your site could not take the stay.

Widget shortcode, iframe, or Website in a Box. Guests pick dates and pay on your domain (Stripe).

Publish an iCal out
Pitchup (and Airbnb, Booking.com) read blocked dates from HolidayFox.

Import their iCal in
OTA bookings land in the same diary so those nights cannot be sold twice.

Leave the Pitchup listing up
New guests still find you there. Returning guests book with you.
What iCal is not
- Not instant API. Feeds refresh on a timer. Do not write “real-time Pitchup API” unless you have one.
- Not a second PMS. Dual-run with CampManager is optional if you already have it.
- Not a reason to turn Pitchup off. Discovery stays. Commission on Pitchup stays their rate — we do not invent it here.

Do I have to leave Pitchup?
No. Keep the listing. iCal is coexistence, not a rip-and-replace.
Is this a Pitchup official integration?
It is two-way iCal — the same mechanism most parks already use. We do not claim a private Pitchup API.
Can I keep CampManager and sync Pitchup through HolidayFox?
You can, but you do not need to. HolidayFox is the diary. Dual-run is optional.
What does HolidayFox cost?
