If you search “free campsite booking software”, CampSuite is on the page. WorkBee Limited. UK phone 01228 581035. A calendar written for the person in the field, not a reception desk. Not Campsite Booking System (campsitebookingsystem.uk) — a different product.
I run HolidayFox, so this is not a neutral page. Both are real booking systems. The useful question: a free calendar plus a guest booking fee, or a booking system that answers at 9pm and takes payment on your own website?
What CampSuite is, and what they do well
An online calendar on your phone: pitches down the side, dates across the top. Deposits go into your own Stripe account. Arrivals, jobs, occupancy. Their WordPress plugin shows which dates are free, then sends the guest to bookings.campsuite.net to pay — payment is not taken on your WordPress page.
Things they genuinely do well:
- It is a real campsite calendar. CL, CS, farm sites, touring, glamping — all in one.
- Published price: free for up to 100 pitches, no card to start, no contract. The only fee they publish is £1.50 on an online booking, paid by the guest — or you pick it up yourself. Source: campsuite.net, checked 2026-09-11. They do not take a commission on the stay.
- Pitchup, Campsites.co.uk and Hipcamp read the same calendar.
- A human on a Cumbria number. They wrote it from a motorhome. That is their line, and it matches the product.
If your priority is “£0 a month, the guest pays £1.50, and I will handle evenings myself,” CampSuite is a credible answer. We will not pretend our commission is cheaper than free-plus-£1.50 on software cost.
What HolidayFox is, and where we are different
HolidayFox is a direct booking system for independent stays. A Book now button on your website, a chat that answers guests any time of day, and one calendar for every booking. We set it up for you.
Guests pay by card on your website through the Book now button. Paying inside the chat is still rolling out. Bookings from Pitchup, Airbnb and Booking.com land in the same calendar, so you're never double-booked. You don't need CampSuite to run it.

Yes. Both hold your calendar. CampSuite's extra is a free phone calendar for up to 100 pitches, with a £1.50 guest fee on online bookings. With HolidayFox, guests pay on your own website.
Is CampSuite the same as Campsite Booking System?
