If you search “campsite invoicing software” or “marina booking system UK”, PayCamp is on the page. Bookings, invoices, VAT and electricity billing in one online system. They sell to touring parks and marinas; Lighthouse Partners are their founding customers.
I run HolidayFox, so this is not a neutral page. Both take bookings. The useful question: do you need their electricity and VAT tools, or a booking system that answers guests at 9pm on your own website?
What PayCamp is, and what they do well
An online booking calendar plus site admin: seasonal rates, a customer portal, a customer database, Xero/CSV export and compliance documents. Boat hire and yard modules cost extra. Card payments go through PayCamp Payments, or your own Stripe account.
Things they genuinely do well:
- It is a real site booking system: pitches, plots or berths, invoices, and who has paid.

Guests pay by card on your website through the Book now button. Paying inside the chat is still rolling out. Bookings from Pitchup, Airbnb and Booking.com land in the same calendar, so you're never double-booked. You don't need PayCamp to run it.

Is HolidayFox a PayCamp alternative?
Yes, for taking bookings. PayCamp's extra is invoicing, VAT and electricity billing (and marina modules). If you don't need those, you don't need PayCamp.
How much does PayCamp cost?
As shown on paycamp.co.uk/pricing (checked 2026-09-11): £49/month up to 25 units, then £99 / £179 / £299. No setup fee. 14-day trial. Card fees are extra — their pages disagree between 2.9% + £1 and 2.9% + 30p; ask them. HolidayFox: free for the Book now button, or from £12.99/month for a website we build for you plus 5% commission on bookings taken through HolidayFox. Card fees are separate: Stripe, the card-payment company, takes its standard fee (1.5% + 20p for UK cards).
Can I keep PayCamp and use HolidayFox?
Yes. If you use PayCamp for metering or marina work, link the two calendars so you're never double-booked. You don't have to keep it.
