If you search 'cheap campsite booking software', Q-Book is on the page. Queensborough Group. UK phone 01204 373710. Their line is 'no contracts, no crazy prices': a low monthly fee, pennies per booking, free connections to listing sites.
I run HolidayFox, so this page isn't neutral. The real question: do you want a £14.99 calendar and to answer evenings yourself, or a booking system with a chat that answers at 9pm?
What Q-Book is, and what they do well
Q-Book is an online calendar plus a channel manager: website booking, drag-and-drop calendar, dynamic pricing, reviews hub, an optional website from £13 + VAT a month, optional EPOS. Guest messages from your website and listing sites sit in one inbox.
They call that guest chat. It's messaging, not a live assistant that knows which dates are free and takes the booking.
What they do well:
- It's real campsite software: pitches, glamping, caravans, extras, arrivals board, reports.
- Published, simple prices. £14.99 + VAT a month for unlimited units, then 20p per pitch booking or 50p per caravan / glamping booking. One-off £99 + VAT enrolment (includes setup). No contract. - Free connections to Pitchup, Hipcamp, Campsites.co.uk, Airbnb, Booking.com and the rest. Their FAQ: 'not a sausage.'
- UK telephone support. They sell a human on the phone, not a ticket queue.
If you want £15 a month, 20p a pitch and a free Pitchup connection, and you'll handle 9pm yourself, Q-Book is a credible choice. We won't pretend our commission is cheaper than 20p a booking.
What HolidayFox is, and where we are different
HolidayFox puts a Book now button on your website, or on one we build for you. Guests pick free dates and pay by card without leaving your site.
A chat answers guests any time of day and helps them book with you. For now they pay through the Book now button; paying in the chat is rolling out.
Pitchup, Airbnb and Booking.com bookings land in the same calendar, so you're never double-booked. We list you on holidayfox.com and in Google's hotel search, and set it all up for you.
You don't need Q-Book to run your calendar.

- Finding new guests. HolidayFox lists you on holidayfox.com and in Google's hotel search. Keep Pitchup either way: they connect through their free channel manager; with HolidayFox, Pitchup bookings land in the same calendar.

Who each one is right for
- Choose Q-Book if you want a known, cheap monthly bill and 20p a pitch, and you'll answer evening enquiries yourself.
- Choose Q-Book if you want their bundled channel manager more than a chat that answers guests.
- Choose HolidayFox if you have a simple or WordPress website and guests still go to Pitchup after hours.
- Choose HolidayFox if you'd rather pay when guests book, without a £99 enrolment fee to start.

Yes. Both are booking systems. HolidayFox adds a chat that answers any time and Google's hotel search. Their extra is a cheap published fee and a free channel manager.

They don't take a percentage of the stay. They do charge 20p or 50p per booking on top of the monthly fee. That's still a per-booking software charge, not 0p.
