If you search “holiday park guest app UK”, Holidaymaker is on the page. Native app, digital welcome pack, What’s On, push offers, Seeview screens. Explorer is explicitly “without PMS or sales integrations.” Higher plans add booking-system connections and HeyguestAI chat.
I run HolidayFox, so this is not a neutral page. This is not a calendar-vs-calendar page. Holidaymaker's extra is the guest app. HolidayFox is the booking system. You do not need an app to take a booking.
What Holidaymaker is, and what they do well
A branded guest platform: App Store listing, content editor, routes and maps, weather, offers, community. Pro Lite adds upsells, holiday-home sales tools, staff/owners, screens, and booking-system and API connections. Pro adds food and drink, a channel manager and links to several systems.
Things they genuinely do well:
- A real guest app. Parks that want their logo in the App Store buy this kind of product.
- Published prices. As shown on holidaymakerapp.co.uk/pricing (checked 2026-09-11): Explorer from £199/month (setup £500); Pro Lite from £350 (setup £1,000); Pro from £650 (setup £1,500). Additional sites or locations £150 each per month.
- Explorer is for sites that do not need it connected to a booking system. On that plan, taking bookings is someone else's job.
- HeyguestAI is guest chat inside their app on higher plans. It is not HolidayFox's booking chat on your website, which knows which dates are free.
If your priority is “a branded park app, and I already have a booking system,” Holidaymaker is a credible extra. We will not pretend our commission replaces a £199 app. We also will not pretend the app takes bookings.
What HolidayFox is, and where we are different
HolidayFox is a direct booking system for independent stays. A Book now button on your website, a chat that answers guests any time of day, and one calendar for every booking. We set it up for you.
Guests pay by card on your website through the Book now button. Paying inside the chat is still rolling out. Bookings from Pitchup, Airbnb and Booking.com land in the same calendar, so you're never double-booked. You don't need Holidaymaker to take bookings.

Is HolidayFox a Holidaymaker alternative?
Not like-for-like. HolidayFox takes bookings. Holidaymaker is a guest app, and Explorer doesn't connect to a booking system. If you need to take bookings, start with a booking system.
Is Holidaymaker the same as EliteParks?
No. EliteParks is Elite Dynamics’ park management system. Holidaymaker is the guest-app product. Different jobs.
How much does Holidaymaker cost?
