If you search “ParcVu” or “holiday park PMS Europe”, Booking Experts (BEX PMS) is the product. Dutch-founded Booking Experts B.V. They say 500+ hospitality businesses. ParcVu joined them in 2024; the UK brand is ParcVu powered by Booking Experts. Planboard, owner settlements, their own CMS, channel manager, an App Store.
I run HolidayFox, so this is not a neutral page. BEX is a real PMS. HolidayFox is a real PMS. The useful question is whether you need that park-ops stack and an annual euro contract, or a book that takes the guest on your own website at 9pm.
What Booking Experts is, and what they do well
BEX PMS is built for recreational hospitality: holiday parks, campsites, hotels, rental organisations and groups. Drag-and-drop planboard, booking-on-map, owner portal, invoicing, meter readings, POS, task management. BEX CMS is a branded website wired to the book. Support is included, 7 days including evenings and holidays.
Things they genuinely do well:
- It is a real park / resort PMS. Reservations, rates, occupancy, guest comms, reporting — not a brochure calendar.
- Published euro prices. Starter €295/month (up to 20 objects, 3 channels, 6 users, 60-day trial). Premium from €495/month (10 channels, 3 locations, 20 users, group bookings). Ultimate / groups: request a demo. No commission — a fixed monthly fee. Source: bookingexperts.com/pricing, checked 2026-09-11.
- Owner portal, POS, booking on a map, App Store integrations. That extra is why staffed parks and groups buy them.
- They are clear about contracts: annual, not month-to-month. Their FAQ says Premium has a 3-year minimum and Ultimate a 5-year minimum. Ask them; that is their page.
If your priority is “a European park-ops stack, owner settlements and a planboard we can staff at reception,” Booking Experts is a credible answer. We will not pretend 5% is cheaper than a fixed €295/month on software cost if you fill the book.
What HolidayFox is, and where we are different
HolidayFox is a full PMS for independent stays: calendar, bookings, payments, guest messaging, self check-in, a daily agenda, a booking widget or hosted website, after-hours live chat, and Google Hotels.
Widget checkout is live on your domain (Stripe). Paying inside the chat thread is still rolling out. You do not need Booking Experts for the diary. If you already have it for owners or a group planboard, iCal can sync — you do not have to.
- Job to be done. Both can hold a book. HolidayFox also answers after hours and lists you on Google Hotels. BEX’s extra is park ops (owners, POS, CMS, planboard).
- Scale. Booking Experts is built for parks, groups and rental organisations. HolidayFox is built for independent stays.
- How you pay. They: a fixed monthly euro fee, no commission, on an annual contract. HolidayFox: free for the widget, or from £12.99/month for a full website plus 5% commission on bookings taken through HolidayFox.
- Risk to try. No joining fee. Keep Pitchup via iCal. Cancel if it is not working.

Who each one is right for
- • You run a park or group and need owner settlements, a planboard and (often) their CMS.
- • You want a fixed monthly fee, zero commission, and you will staff reception.
- You want one system for the diary, website checkout, after-hours live chat and Google Hotels.
- You have a brochure site and guests still bounce to Pitchup after hours.
- You want to pay when they book, not a multi-year euro licence before the season starts.
