HolidayFox vs Booking Experts

If you search 'ParcVu', Booking Experts (BEX PMS) is the product. Dutch-founded Booking Experts B.V. They say 500+ hospitality businesses. ParcVu joined them in 2024; the UK brand is ParcVu powered by Booking Experts. Planboard, owner settlements, their own website builder (CMS), channel manager, an App Store.

I run HolidayFox, so this page isn't neutral. The real question: do you need that park operations stack and an annual euro contract, or a booking system that takes the guest on your own website at 9pm?

What Booking Experts is, and what they do well

Booking Experts is built for recreational hospitality: holiday parks, campsites, hotels, rental organisations and groups. Drag-and-drop planboard, booking on a map, owner portal, invoicing, meter readings, POS, task management. BEX CMS is a branded website linked to the bookings. Support is included 7 days a week, including evenings and holidays.

What they do well:

• •It's real park and resort software: reservations, rates, occupancy, guest messages, reporting.
• •Published euro prices. Starter €295/month (up to 20 objects, 3 channels, 6 users, 60-day trial). Premium from €495/month (10 channels, 3 locations, 20 users, group bookings). • •Owner portal, POS, booking on a map, App Store add-ons. That's why staffed parks and groups buy them.
• •They're clear about contracts: annual, not month-to-month. Their FAQ says Premium has a 3-year minimum and Ultimate a 5-year minimum. Ask them; that's their page.

If you want a European park operations stack, owner settlements and a planboard run by reception staff, Booking Experts is a credible choice. If you fill your calendar, we won't pretend our commission is cheaper than a fixed €295 a month.

What HolidayFox is, and where we are different

HolidayFox puts a Book now button on your website, or on one we build for you. Guests pick free dates and pay by card without leaving your site.

A chat answers guests any time of day and helps them book with you. For now they pay through the Book now button; paying in the chat is rolling out.

Who each one is right for

• •Choose Booking Experts if you run a park or group and need owner settlements, a planboard and (often) their website builder.
• •Choose Booking Experts if you want a fixed monthly fee, zero commission, and you'll staff reception.
• •Choose HolidayFox if you have a simple website and guests still go to Pitchup after hours.
• •Choose HolidayFox if you'd rather pay when guests book than a multi-year euro licence before the season starts.
