If you run a larger UK holiday park, campground or a small group, RMS Cloud is one of the global names on the ops shortlist. Their public pitch is a cloud PMS for hotels, motels, holiday parks, campgrounds and serviced apartments — reservations, a booking engine, a channel manager, payments, POS.
I run HolidayFox, so this is not a neutral page. RMS is a serious ops platform. HolidayFox is the reservation book for independent stays. The useful question is whether you are buying park/hotel operations at group scale, or a book that takes the guest on your own website, including at 9pm.
What RMS Cloud is, and what they do well
RMS (rmscloud.com) is a cloud-native hospitality platform. They publicly claim 6,000+ hotels, motels, holiday parks, campgrounds and serviced apartments across 70+ countries. They sell operations, direct bookings and guest stay tools together.
Things RMS genuinely does well:
- It is a real park/hotel PMS. Reservation grid, site-based inventory, housekeeping, multi-property, reporting — built for operators who run a reception, not only a website.
- A native booking engine and channel manager. Guests can book on the park site; OTAs stay in sync without a separate channel product.
- Park extras many independents never buy: interactive site maps, POS, group controls, GDS for chains.
- Pricing is a quote by sites/units, plus implementation. We will not invent a monthly figure from a third-party blog.
If your priority is “one ops platform for a busy park or a group, including maps, POS and channels,” RMS is a credible answer. Request a demo from them. You do not need that stack to run a diary or take website bookings.
What HolidayFox is, and where we are different
